Vaccination Requirements
Keeping Your Pets & Other Pets Safe
When you bring your cat or dog to our St. Louis Pet Care Facility, Silver Maple Pet Center, you will find that one of our top priorities is his or her health and safety. As a Pet Care Center that has been around since 1935, we understand just how important it is to know your pet is in good health before he or she comes to our facility. One of the ways that we can ensure this is by requiring proof of vaccinations for all cats and dogs that come under our care.
We only accept dogs that are up-to-date on the following vaccinations:
- DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus)
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- H3N2 Canine Influenza Vaccine (Required as of June 23, 2017)
- H3N8 Canine Influenza Vaccine (Recommended - Can be as a separate shot or in combination with the H3N2)
We only accept cats that are up-to-date on the following vaccinations:
- FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia)
- Rabies
