Founded in 1935, our Pet Boarding, Grooming, and Daycare Facility serves pets throughout St. Louis, Des Peres, and surrounding areas. We are conveniently located in St. Louis West County with two beautiful acres that provide a park-like atmosphere. Our staff members at Silver Maple Pet Center (formerly Silver Maple Farm) are truly passionate about caring for pets and making them feel as happy and comfortable as possible. Leadership have been in the business since 1988 and also operate other pet care facilities across the St. Louis and St. Charles areas.

Silver Maple does a great job. Obviously, if you are reading reviews you are looking for a place you can board your pet and be confident they are being well cared for. We wouldn’t board our dog anywhere else.

The people who work at Silver Maple are very friendly and obviously love animals. Our dog loves staying here while we are on vacation and is very happy and perky when we pick her up.

Highly recommended.

We recently started taking our two Japanese chins here for their mani-pedis and I just can't say enough about this place. You can genuinely feel The compassion they have for the animals. If we ever need to board our two chins we will make sure that they stay here

I'm just moving to the area, from out of state. Silver Maple Pet Center took exceptional care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats while my move was completed. I highly recommend both their boarding facility (cats and dogs) and their doggy daycare!

Beautiful setting. Great staff. The dogs felt comfortable. 30 minute of additional playtime a day optional. Pets both did good there. Staff were flexible and very helpful.

Our dog is very anxious, so figuring out who’s watching her while we are out of town is difficult. Randomly found Silver Maple and gave them a shot, and I’m soooo glad we did! The staff was so friendly, they updated us if we called to check in, and our pup left in really good spirits! They gave her so many compliments and you can tell they care. Highly recommend!!

Our dog is a pit mix, 50 lbs, and has separation anxiety if that helps anyone.

Silver Maple has taken care of our senior dog twice now when we have gone out of town and also in preparation for a move. Our pupper is a very anxious rescue, and was understandably nervous the first time we took him. He did well! Took him a day to start eating, which is what he does when he's in a strange place, but they worked with him and even found that a little water sprinkled on his dry food helped him to eat. The second time we took him in, he was excited to be there and remembered the staff, so it was less stressful. I have tried the pack/group boarding places and he does okay with them, but he really does better in his own space. This place was perfect! Thank you, Silver Maple Pet Center!

Had a brief unfortunate interaction with this establishment at a professional capacity. As an animal professional, I would not have my dog here under any circumstances. Kennels are very tiny, the facility is a patchwork job and smells disgusting (and I am used to animal smells), the staff I did interact with clearly had no knowledge of animal behavior. The staff member let a known aggressive dog loose towards my partner and I, it proceeded to charge us multiple times to the point we had to remove ourselves from the area, or it would have resulted in a bite. I imagine people pay a pretty penny to board their dogs here, given the area. They should know what they’re paying for.

I was reluctant to board greyhound Mortimer (Morty) for the first time since I adopted him in late summer 2024. He came from a racing-training farm in Abilene, KS and wasn't a fit for racing so he came home to a pretty spoiled lifestyle before he was 2! He's pretty bonded with me and is protective of our house. I was not sure what it would feel like for him to be back in a communal setting when I needed to attend to my family out of state. Silver Maple was wonderful! BAH recommended Silver Maple and I see why! I liked the ability to drop off Morty's bed and a few of his favorite toys and treats and the staff said he settled in and enjoyed running next to his "neighbors" in the adjacent runs. I feel so relieved that this experience was positive for Morty!
